Marilyn Buehler
Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner
and Wellness Guide

Marilyn provides Jin Shin Jyutsu sessions and offers guidance in holistic wellness topics and Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help to assist clients restore and maintain their health. She has a limited practice in Sacramento, seeing patients on weekends and occasional weekends.

Trained as a Wellness Guide at the Sancta Sophia Seminary Wellness Guide program, her focus is on wellness of the body, mind and spirit. As a Wellness Guide, she is certified to teach concepts and practices of meditation, practical applications of wisdom teachings and spiritual laws, principles of ethical living and right relationships, and right use of intuition. Through various modalities, Marilyn assists others reach an optimum state of well being. Having completed the seminary's Foundations of Spirituality program and she is also certified as a Practitioner and Spiritual Counselor. She has been practicing meditation since 1972 and teaching meditation since 1976.

In 1996 Marilyn completed the Acupressure Practitioner program at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley. The emphasis of her study was in the areas of Women's Health, Emotional Balancing, and Shiatsu. 

In 1997, she completed training as an herbalist through the  Evergreen Holistic Ministry, and was certified as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Pastoral Counselor.  In 2002, she was certified as Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner; she is also qualified as a Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help Instructor.

Marilyn has been ordained an Interfaith Esoteric Christian minister through the Light of Christ Community Church, which is affiliated with the International Council of Community Churches. She has a Masters of Divinity from Sancta Sophia Seminary
